Member, Dr. Judy Westrick PhD. Over the past twenty years, Dr. Westrick research focused her research on microorganisms and their toxins such as cyanobacteria (cyanotoxins) and mold (mycotoxins). As an environmental analytical chemist, she has developed new technologies to determine cyanotoxin concentrations in the low ppt range. She has advanced every avenue of cyanotoxin research from sampling to forecast modeling
Member, Dr. Jeremy Kodanko, Ph.D., has over 25 years of experience in synthesizing and characterizing complex molecules and peptides. As a Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Wayne State University his research is at the chemistry-biology interface. He has published more than 60 research papers in the fields of complex molecule synthesis, peptide chemistry, enzymology and phototherapy.
